Locally Owned Home Design Company
The Drawing Board is a locally owned and operated home design company based in Zeeland, MI. Because we live and work right here in West Michigan, we understand the area, its communities, and the unique considerations that go into designing a home here.
Owner Tim Miedema serves on several local township boards, giving him firsthand knowledge of township requirements, zoning considerations, and the local building process. That experience can be especially valuable when planning a new home and identifying potential requirements early in the design process. As local professionals, we bring a level of care, practical knowledge, and customization to every project that simply can’t be matched by stock house plans.
A Commitment to Service
At the Drawing Board, we are fully committed to providing attentive, personal service for each customer. Our design team is attuned to your home goals and desires, transforming your initial concept into professional construction documents for your builder. The result is a truly custom home built with you in mind from the start.
Dedication to Expertise
We're never satisfied with "good enough." Each custom project brings unique problems to solve, which is why we constantly learn and hone our design expertise through ongoing education and professional development. Whatever your home design goal, rest assured that our team has the experience to make it happen!
